Concern for imprisoned Iranian filmmaker

In support of the FSFF blog calling for solidarity for imprisoned filmmaker Jafar Panahi, who has been detained since 1 March, 2010 as part of the crackdown on censorship in Iran since the reelection of President Ahmadinejad.

Jafar Panahi is most notable for his film The Circle which won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 2000, portraying the lives of women in Iran. International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran has recently expressed concern over the physical welfare of Panahi.
